A new year, a new job

I got a job at T-mobile this morning. I think I’ll appreciate having a job again that fits my skills better and the rather enormous increase in income. I don’t think I’ll appreciate the commute a whole lot, but it’s a good thing I like to drive.

Yes, the Lord does provide.

UPDATE: I realized that I might, just might, be able to finally afford the Object of My Long-suffering Desire in a few months:

My heart swells when I consider this prospect.

  1. sweet man, congrats. Moving up in the employment world realy feels good doesn’t it? Its a far cry from making sub sandwiches for minimum wage, or washing dishes at Benihanas!

I just got two jobs, one as a medic shift supervisor with Community Service Patrol, another as a decontaminate tech with Security Aviation. Good times.

  3. 🙂 Congrats on the job. Hopefully it will be the starting place in a long and successful career. Just remember that the job they are giving you is probably something no one else in the company wants to do. But many start here, deal with the boredom, put in their time and move on to bigger and better job descriptions (and more pay!). We are looking forward to finding out more about your employment.

  4. mmmmyah, we’re putting cover sheets on all the TPS reports from now on….did you get the memo? So if you could just do that from now on, that’d be great.

  5. congrats on the job! now i can bitch to you when my phone is all screwed up…like why isn’t my voicemail working? i know you’re all psyched thinking you’re going to meet catherine zeta-jones, but she only does dudes with pacemakers and a million in the bank…sorry to bust your dream.
