I enjoyed a nice Sunday with my little bro today. We went up to the Queen Anne Tully’s, and while I read Tom had breakfast and walked around a little bit. We were blessed with perfect weather today, so it was nice to get out and enjoy it some. I’m nearly done — finally! — with The Gathering Storm by Churchill. It’s a good read, but it’s not especially gripping. I definitely have gotten a much better knowledge of what was going on in the international political scene during the war and during the Twilight War. I think I’ll have a few closing thoughts on that book, so stay tuned!
After Tom started his camp shindig, I hung out with my friends Rob and Paul. We played some law darts, getting demolished by Rob and his precision tosses. Then we went up to Pete’s Pizza, had calzones, and enjoyed a little bit of right-wing chatter. After that we hung out a few hours longer and talked about a bunch of other stuff.
Now that Tom is “out of the house” for the rest of the week (I get him back this weekend), I’ll be able to blog like normal. Hopefully that’s seen as a good thing. 🙂
