hawaii

Well, today was my first full day in Hawaii. We had beautiful weather that was warm but not quite hot, a slight breeze, and sun. The big thing we did today was annual family photo that goes out with all the Chirstmas cards. We also went to a mall.

I noticed while at the mall that whites are definitely in the minority which is not a new experience or me but rare one (especially in the northwest). I also noticed that Hawaii is real tight on space. The mall’s architecture was rather cramped and condensed. The roads are always clogged, but there is no room to expand. There are also many high-rise apartment buildings. So far my impression is that Hawaii is a great place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live here. Perhaps that will change.
