life goes on

Well, I’ve caught myself in a strange good mood. Just chillin’ in my room with my roomate Dan. We just tried lighting our socks on fire. SPU can get pretty dull. . .actually, I don’t think so. I have fun usually no matter what I’m doing. I can just sit and do nothing or I can be off on some late night Denny’s run, or off trucking another floor. It’s all fun; it’s all good.

Sleep, as usual, is scarce. I haven’t gotten double digit hours of sleeps in a long time. I can’t even remember when the last time that was. Bedtime seems to be constantly shifting to later and later. My nap time is between 6 and 9 and I get a burst of energy usually around 1 a.m. About four I really start dropping off. Tonight is an exception though. I’m really tired already, so I’m going to wrap this up quickly.

I’m reading Pride and Prejudice for UCORE (a decidedly worthless and boring class). It is hilarious. I haven’t read a book this funny in a while. Outstanding. I’m going to be watching the movie as soon as I finish the book. I’m looking forward to it. From what I understand though, guys hate this book. I can see why – here is the first line: “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” Whatever! I gagged when I first read that, but I’ve been thoroughly convinced that this is an excellent and worthwhile book. I recommend it.

Good morning.

Tip of the day: Harsh UV lights are bad for the eyeballs.
